2nd project meeting in Denmark, at DTU in Copenhagen and at CELF in Nykobing Falster
The second meeting was organised in Denmark, at DTU in Copenhagen and at CELF in Nykobing Falster. During the second meeting, project partners visited DTU campus and DTU Sustain laboratories, as well as LIFE campus, where dedicated training courses are organised for schools. Next, project partners visited premises of CELF in Nykobing Falster, where they had the chance to visit all workshops where educational activities are held. Finally, project partners visited visitor center of the project Fehmarnbelt tunnel, being built between Denmark and Germany. Purpose of the visit was to hear the background for the Fehmarnbelt connection and how the world's longest submersible tunnel is being built. This was also a great example of presentation of the construction site that is aiming to raise social awareness and promote civil engineering among the youth.
