Did you know that Master's students think their education did not prepare them for green transition of construction sector?

Project GREENCO will develop learning tools and workshops tailor-made for the master level students in construction sector as well as courses for engineers to obtain microcredentials in the field of sustainable construction.

This will answer the following needs:

  • the societal and environmental needs for mitigation measures for climate change;

  • the economic need of the construction industry faced with penalisation measures for CO2 emissions while at the same time increasing their possibilities for better market positioning due to innovation uptake;

  • the need of teaching professionals to upgrade their skills with relevant knowledge while strengthening capacity and outputs of higher education institutions;

  • it is raising awareness of students about the regional and societal issues and implementing problem solving into curricula.
