GREENCO participates in knowledge transfer to professionals at MBF, Rovinj

GREENCO team members (prof. dr.sc. M. Serdar, dr.sc. I. Carević, prof. dr.sc. N. Štirmer and prof. dr.sc. I. Banjad Pečur from the University of Zagreb Faculty of civil engineering) participated in a knowledge transfer to professionals in the construction industry through a workshop called ‘Sustainability of the built environment - professional training’ held within the ‘Masters of building fair’ conference.

The event was held in Rovinj, from 10.10. to 12.10.2024., while the workshop took place on 11.10.2024. The three day conference brought together more than 2000 visitors, 200 speakers and lecturers and 40 exhibitioners, where the aim was to provide space for networking, exchange of information about the state of the market and insights into world trends. The conference brought together investors, developers, architects, real estate agencies, construction operatives, manufacturers and traders, financial experts, insurers, technical, economic and legal consultants, as well as experts in the field of technology and information technology from the entire region.

GREENCO members held a professional training to inform representatives of the local and regional industry on the state of the art in terms of sustainability of construction industry as well as and future practices that will need to be implemented into industrial manufacturing to keep up with the legislative policies and market trends.

The training was organized with the consent of the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Construction and State Property of the Republic of Croatia, whereby the participants were entitled to 5 points in the professional field within the professional training.
