Popularization of science - IV. MUZZA science week

The IV. MUZZA Science Week was held from April 10, 2025 to April 13, 2025, in the premises of the Rectorate of the University of Zagreb. Over the course of four days, visitors were able to enjoy more than 100 workshops, interactive experiments, exhibitions and lectures. The program is implemented in cooperation with the faculties of the University of Zagreb, and its goal is to introduce children and young people to the world of science and technology.

Representative of GREENCO project held a workshop with three main aims: (1) introduce the children to the basics of construction and the importance of sustainable construction, (2) encourage creativity and imagination in designing the building of the future, (3) develop awareness of the environment, energy efficiency and recycling.

Youngest visitors had the chance to familiarize themselves with the exhibition cabinet with various material samples (recycled rubber, glass wool, recycled aggregate, natural aggregate, stone, straw, mycelium, cork, gypsum, clay, recycled asphalt, etc.) and then envision the building of the future (using those same materials).
