Capacity building for teachers, trainers and educators held in Vinkovci, Croatia

ASOO (Agency for Vocational Education and Adult Education) organized an expert meeting for the Construction and Geodesy sector under the title Construction in conditions of climate change. The meeting was held on 24.10.2024. in the Vinkovci City Library and in the Ruđer Bošković Technical School in Vinkovci.

The teachers of Construction school Zagreb, partners in the GREENCO consortium, Ivana Gagro, B.Sc.Arch. and Hrvoje Mostečak, Bachelor of Civil Engineering, held the presentation of the GREENCO project as well as the new optional course Green Building that is being held in their school as a part of GREENCO project. The teachers also presented a handbook for students and teachers in order to disseminate their own knowledge and experience in teaching green practices to their students.

About 50 professional teachers and principals of schools from all over Croatia, which train students for construction professions, participated in the meeting. Part of the audience is very interested in the materials (handbook) in order to be able to integrate topics from the handbook into their own teaching process.
